Short Game Practice Area

"The difference between getting in a sand trap and getting in water is like the difference between an auto wreck and an airplane wreck. You can recover from one of them."
Bobby Jones, Grand Slam Winner & Co-Founder of The Masters

Our short-game area is the perfect place to hone your chipping and putting skills. The short game accounts for the majority of your shots in any given round, meaning that it should be something you practice just as much as your long game

We have 4 bentgrass chipping greens which are surrounded by nearly every situation you could encounter around the green:
  • Tight fairway lies
  • Deep rough
  • Fescue
  • Bunkers
  • Light rough
  • Uneven terrain
Take a medium or large bucket of range balls to the short game area. Practicing that aspect of your game will improve your score.

We encourage you to collect those range balls and work on your long game afterwards.
